01What this policy covers

Our broker reviews are published as The Bridge Report. This policy explains, step by step, where the facts in a review come from, how we check them, how often they are re-checked, how scores are set, how we keep money away from opinions, and how we correct mistakes. It applies to every broker review, comparison, country page and data page on The Forex Bridge.

Our rule is simple: we publish only what we can show a source for. If we cannot confirm something on the broker’s own pages or on a regulator’s register, it does not go into a review.

02Who is responsible

Every Bridge Report is published under the name of Akash, founder and editor of The Forex Bridge, who is responsible for its accuracy and for the decision to publish it. Questions and corrections reach him directly at support@theforexbridge.com.

03Where our facts come from

We use primary sources only, in this order:

  1. Regulators’ public registers for licences: the licensed entity’s exact name, licence number and status, linked to the register entry itself.
  2. The broker’s own legal documents: client agreements, terms and conditions, key information documents, order execution and fee schedules.
  3. The broker’s own website: account types, minimum deposits, published spreads and commissions, platforms, payment methods, withdrawal terms and its published share of retail accounts that lose money.
  4. Verified trader reviews on our own site, for real-world experience such as withdrawal times, always shown as traders’ experience and never as a broker fact.

We do not copy facts from other review websites, forums, press releases or affiliate material, and we do not rely on what a broker’s sales staff tell us. Each fact is stored with the address of the page it came from and the date we read it, and the review links to those sources so you can check them yourself.

04Before a review is published

  • At least one licence must be confirmed on a regulator’s register and matched to the entity the broker names on its own site. A broker we cannot match to a register entry is not reviewed.
  • Every number in the review (deposit, spread, commission, leverage, loss percentage) must appear in a quoted source. Numbers we cannot match are removed, not estimated.
  • The review shows the broker’s own risk warning figure where the broker publishes one, an affiliate disclosure where we have a commercial link, and the date its facts were last checked.
  • For visitors in the EU, UK and Australia, links point only to the broker entity licensed for that region.

05Nightly re-checks and the “Facts re-checked” date

Brokers change fees and rules often, so a review that was right last month can be wrong today. Every night from 00:10 UTC, each broker’s published facts are read again on the broker’s own pages and compared with what our review says.

  • A broker page shows “Facts re-checked” with that day’s date only when that night’s check confirmed at least 80% of its facts, and it shows how many facts were confirmed out of the total.
  • If fewer facts could be confirmed (for example because the broker’s site blocked the check or was redesigned), the page keeps the date of the last successful check. We never show a date on which nothing was checked.
  • When a fact has changed, the review is updated. Changes to fees and rules are recorded on our fee and rule changes page only with a word-for-word quote from the broker’s own page.

06How scores are set

Each broker receives a Bridge Score out of 100. It is built from four criteria: regulation & safety (35 points), fees & costs (25), deposits & withdrawals (20) and platforms & trading (20), with verified trader reviews blended in slowly (up to 30% at 20 reviews). Each line shows pass, partial or fail with its source, so anyone can see why a broker scored what it did. The full method is on our methodology page. Scores change only when the underlying facts change, never because of a commercial relationship.

07Independence from brokers

  • Brokers cannot pay for a review, a score, a ranking, a “best” label or removal of negative content.
  • Brokers do not see reviews before publication and have no say over what we write.
  • A broker may write to us to point out a factual error. We change a fact only when we can confirm the correct version on its own site or a regulator’s register, the same as for anyone else.
  • Whether a broker pays us a commission has no effect on its score. Brokers without any agreement with us are reviewed in exactly the same way. How we earn money is explained in our affiliate disclosure.
  • We do not accept gifts, trips or payments from brokers in return for coverage.

08Trader reviews

Traders can review any broker we cover. Every trader review is checked before it appears, and only reviews backed by proof of a real account receive the Verified badge. We publish negative and positive reviews alike, and we never write, buy or reward reviews. Brokers may post one public reply but cannot edit or remove a review. The rules are in our terms of use.

09What we do not claim

We are open about the limits of our work. We do not hold money with every broker we review, we do not run deposit and withdrawal tests, and we do not audit brokers’ finances. Withdrawal times shown on a review come from the broker’s own stated terms or from verified trader reviews, and are labelled as such. Our reviews describe what the broker publishes and what regulators record; they cannot prove how a broker will behave in future.

10Corrections policy

If you find a mistake, email support@theforexbridge.com with the page address, what is wrong and, if you can, a link to the source that shows the correct fact.

  1. We acknowledge your message, usually within 2 business days.
  2. We check the claim against the broker’s own pages and the regulator’s register.
  3. A confirmed factual error is corrected straight away, and the page’s date is updated.
  4. If the error was significant (for example a wrong licence, a wrong entity or a misleading fee), we add a short correction note to the review saying what changed and when.
  5. We tell you what we did. If we decide not to change the page, we explain why.

Corrections are free and are handled the same way whoever sends them: a trader, a broker or a regulator.

11How we write

We write in plain English for traders in many countries, many of whom use English as a second language. We avoid jargon or explain it, keep sentences short, state numbers exactly as the source does, and always give times in UTC. We never use fake urgency, and we never describe a high-risk product as safe.
