How The Forex Bridge is paid, which links earn us money, and the rules that keep that money away from our scores and reviews.

01The short answer
The Forex Bridge is free to use. We may earn a commission from a broker when you open or fund an account after clicking a link on our site. You never pay more because of it. Commissions never change a Bridge Score, a ranking or what a review says, and brokers cannot pay to be reviewed or to be ranked higher.
02How we make money
Running an independent review site costs money: servers, data, research time and editing. We do not charge traders, we do not sell personal data, and we do not show paid advertising on the site. Instead, we join the affiliate or introducing-partner programmes that many brokers run.
Under these programmes a broker may pay us:
- a one-time fee when a trader we referred opens and funds a real account and meets the broker’s qualifying conditions; and/or
- a small amount based on the trading volume of accounts we referred (often called a rebate or a per-lot commission).
These payments come out of the broker’s own marketing budget. They do not come out of your deposit, and the broker’s prices, spreads and fees are the same whether you arrive through our link or go directly.
03Which links are affiliate links
Buttons and links that send you to a broker to open an account, such as “Visit broker”, may be affiliate links. Links to brokers’ legal documents, fee pages and regulators’ registers, which we use as sources, are ordinary links and earn us nothing.
Not every broker we review has an affiliate agreement with us. A broker with no agreement is still reviewed, scored and ranked in exactly the same way, and can rank above brokers that do pay us.
04What commissions never change
- Scores. The Bridge Score is calculated from published pass-or-fail criteria with sources. There is no input for commission. See our methodology.
- Rankings and comparisons. Broker tables and comparisons follow the facts and scores, not payment.
- Review content. Brokers do not see our reviews before publication and cannot change them. Negative facts stay in.
- Trader reviews. We never hide negative trader reviews, and brokers cannot remove them.
- Risk warnings. Each broker’s own published share of losing retail accounts is shown wherever it is available, whatever our relationship.
05Regional rules we follow
- India: visitors from India do not see broker sign-up links at all, because trading forex with overseas brokers is not permitted for Indian residents.
- EU, UK and Australia: visitors in these regions are shown links only to broker entities licensed there, never to the same brand’s offshore entity.
- No bonus promotions: we do not promote deposit bonuses, which are banned for retail clients in the EU, UK and Australia and often come with conditions that lock traders’ money.
- No paid ads for broker offers: we do not buy search or social media advertising to promote broker sign-ups.
06Cashback
We intend to share part of the rebates we receive with traders as cashback in the future. This is not available yet, and no broker currently offers cashback through The Forex Bridge. If and when it starts, the exact rates, the brokers involved and the conditions will be published on the site before anyone signs up for it.
07What brokers learn about you
When you click an affiliate link, the broker or its affiliate system records that you came from us, usually with a cookie on its own site. We do not send the broker your name, email address or anything you told us. If you open an account, the broker may tell us that a referred account was opened or traded, so that it can pay us; we do not need to know who you are, and we do not ask. More detail is in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
08Why we tell you this
Consumer protection and advertising rules in many countries require websites to make commercial relationships clear, and we think you should know how a review site is paid before you trust it. A short version of this disclosure appears at the bottom of every page.
09Questions
If you want to know whether we have a commercial relationship with a particular broker, email support@theforexbridge.com and we will tell you. Brokers interested in a partnership should read our editorial policy first: a partnership does not buy any change to a review.
